UK’s most prolific rapist who drugged 197 victims outside club is unmasked

BRITAIN’S most prolific rapist who drugged up to 197 victims and filmed himself abusing them in his city centre rape lair has been jailed for life. Devout Catholic Reynhard Sinaga, 36, prowled the streets outside Manchester nightclubs looking for drunk revellers separated from their friends.
He then lured victims back to his flat for drinks or to charge their phone before slipping them a date rape drug and attacking them for several hours. Sinaga was only stopped when one brave victim woke up to find himself being abused and fought back so fiercely the pervert was left with a bleed on the brain. He is unmasked today after a reporting restriction preventing him being named was lifted at Manchester Crown Court. The sick predator boasted of using his “secret poison” to make young, straight men “fall in love” with him between January 2015 and June 2017. In one chilling encounter captured on CCTV, he left his flat and returned with a victim just 60 seconds later. Sinaga was found guilty of 159 charges against 48 men – aged between 17 and 36 – but cops found evidence of up to 197 victims on his laptops and other devices. Some victims were clueless they had even been attacked until approached by police with harrowing footage. It is believed dozens more victims could now come forward following his conviction. Indonesian Sinaga moved to Manchester as a student and rented a flat near the city’s gay village. He was born to a wealthy, strict Catholic family in the Indonesian capital Jakarta. Despite his evil crimes he regularly attended St John’s and St Chrysostom’s Anglican Church in the Rusholme area of Manchester. The church even provided a character reference to the court during his trial. Sinaga was only foiled when one brave victim woke up in the apartment with the predator abusing him in June 2017. The rugby player fought off Sinaga before battering him and leaving him with a bleed on the brain. The victim was initially arrested on suspicion of assault before police discovered hundreds of sickening videos on Sinaga’s mobile phone. Sinaga forced dozens of his victims to relive the night he raped them during a series of four trials at Manchester Crown Court. After being found guilty in the first trial Sinaga only chose to give evidence again as members of the media watched on the final case. He told jurors having sex with people playing dead is “common” and “happens underground”. The court was told how he bragged of his crimes on social media, writing: “Manchester is a magical city. City of gay romance, city of gay love. Take a sip of my secret poison. It’ll make you fall in love.” Ian Rushton, North West Deputy Chief Crown Prosecutor, described Sinaga as Britain’s most prolific rapist. He said: “Reynhard Sinaga is the most prolific rapist in British legal history. “His extreme sense of sexual entitlement almost defies belief and he would no doubt still be adding to his staggering tally had he not been caught.”
