Miyeti Allah Claims Being Responsible for Plateau Killings.

The Killings In Plateau – Statement By The Fulani Nationality Movement, (Funam) – We Remain Solid And Unshaken By The Wind

Our attention has been drawn to the series of campaigns being waged against the FULANI NATIONALITY following the killings in PLATEAU where some civilians who have been tormenting the FULANI nation were justifiable hacked down; Why is it convenient for Nigerians to condemn the killings of Birom but fail to condemn the killings of Fulani people? We frown at the conscious attempts to demonize the FULANI nation by the media and their collaborators; We wish to make the following categorical statements on the Plateau incidence:

1) The killings in Barkin Ladi was motivated by previous killings of FULANI men and women by Birom youths in collaboration with certain minority ethnic groups in PLATEAU. We hereby justify this retaliatory attacks and warn that we shall continue to defend ourselves and uphold the FULANI heritage now and in the future. Let it be known that the Fulani Special Force coordinated the attacks; For the avoidance of doubt, our heritage is that ANY ATTACK ON A SINGLE FULANI IS AN ATTACK ON ALL. ANY OF SUCH ATTACKS MUST BE COUNTERED WITH TRIPLE MEASURE.

2) That apart from stealing hundreds of cows belonging to FULANI, these criminal elements also set ablaze several houses belonging to peaceful FULANI natives across the entire territories in Barkin Ladi and Plateau.

3)That we have said it several times that Plateau is an indigenous territory of the FULANI people. We are the first to settle in Plateau-Benue axis thousands of years ago. We shall take and posses every inch of this land; A conscious attempt to rewrite history and distort, manipulate or destroy our past will be resisted with all the might at our disposal.

4) That there is a clear agenda to divide Nigeria and exterminate the FULANI people. We are long aware of this plot. We call on FULANI all over Africa to prepare for this inevitable war and set our people on an offensive path rather than being weaklings that choose a defensive strategy in warfare.

5) We have said it over and over, that Nigeria is the only inhertrance we have in Africa and anywhere in the world. This land belongs to us, from Sokoto to the banks of the Atlantic Ocean. This was the destiny bestowed on Uthman Dan Fodio which would have been fulfilled since 1816 if not for the obstruction of this great assignment by the British. It is no longer time to play the ostrish. Our men are waiting. We are eager to fight. We are boiling with the zeal to actualize our dream; enough of double dealing and ambivalence by FULANI political leaders who unfortunately think the FULANI can only take back what belongs to us through appeasement and elections destined to reflect cultural values antithetical to the preachings of Uthman Dan Fodio.

6) We warn that nothing will be able to save those raising their voices against us and Allah. Nothing will be left behind, from the East, West and Middle Belt except those who accept the creation of Allah and the leadership place of Fulani in fulfilling this destiny. Since this irresponsible Western notion of democracy was imposed, the Fulani have been shortchanged and maligned. The Middle-Belt, the West and the East should be prepared. We are already here.

7) Let the Birom and the ethnic minority invaders in the entire Middle Belt leave our territory or be prepared to accept our ways of live. It is time for them to savour their wounds. It is just the beginning. Many more will come and nothing can stop us.

7) Insha Allah, we shall take this battle across the sea, on the land, in the air, on the mountains, in every territory currently occupied by the Kafirs. This is our position. This is our destiny. For those who think they can stop or continue to conspire against us, we wish them good luck.

Only Buhari Can Destroy Boko Haram – Presidency

The Presidency says President Muhammadu Buhari is the best man to destroy the Boko Haram insurgents in the northeast and bring an end to their carnage in Nigeria.

Presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu made this known in a communique on Wednesday, January 29.

“President Buhari is going to finish off these terrorists. He alone can do it,” Garba Shehu assured.

Speaking in reaction to a call by Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe asking President Buhari to resign for ‘failing to secure the nation’, Mr Garba Shehu said if a leader like President Buhari needs to resign, there are millions of other Nigerians who need to resign, including the lawmaker.

He accused Abaribe of unlocking the door to enable the escape of traitorous and treasonable suspects.

Mr Shehu further claimed that Abaribe’s party ‘raped’ the nation and left it collapsing in 2015, adding that President Buhari has been fixing things up since he came into office.

The presidential spokesman further noted that the President is working hard to keep Nigeria and Nigerians out of the harm terrorists have unleashed in the entire Sahel and Sub-Saharan Africa.

He assured that the reign of terror will soon come to an end with the support of Nigerians and her foreign friends

If it takes crisis to win elections, we need more crisis’ – Oshiomhole

The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, has boasted that the speculated crises rocking the ruling party did not reflect in the party’s electoral victories in the polls conducted so far.

The APC boss, who dropped the hint while playing host to Kano State chapter of the party recently, also joked that if a crisis is what it takes to win elections, he won’t mind the continuation of more crises.

While addressing a delegation led by the Governor of Kano State, Umar Ganduje, Oshiomhole quipped: “On my part, the victories we recorded especially in this rerun election is very timely.

“When I pick up newspapers and see where they are writing that APC is in crisis, and by the time you turn to the next page they will announce that APC has won this or that elections, I was like if crisis is what it takes to win elections, maybe we will continue to be in crisis.

“But I also know that at the heart of electioneering and partisan contestation is the capacity of a political party to approach the election in a united front, canvas and win,” he said.

Speaking during the event, Kano State governor said:

“We are here to present to you the certificate of return of Alhassan Ado Doguwa who was also the House Leader. This certificate is very important to us because it is a certificate that is carrying two caps.

“One, it is carrying the cap for him to be the member of National Assembly and the other cap, he was the Majority Leader and now he is an applicant. By the grace of Allah, our national chairman, I hereby present you the certificate,” he said.

Pledging the loyalty of the state chapter of the party, Dogowa said: “We want to let you know that the government, the governor and the people of Kano State under the aegis of our proud party, the APC, remain faithful and loyal to your leadership as chairman of the APC in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”

Activities Of Bandits Have Surprised Me ― Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday said that his administration is surprised by the activities of bandits in parts of the country, which he observed, had denied people of their means of livelihood.

Speaking on Tuesday in State House, Abuja when he received a delegation of eminent citizens of Niger State led by Governor Abubakar Sani Bello, he said while Boko Haram was well known to him at the time of his campaigns, he was taken aback by banditry.

President Buhari said the onslaught of the bandits had also affected agricultural output in some parts of the country, in spite of the favourable weather for farming, because many farmers were attacked, and others had to stay away for safety.

The President said the poverty level in the country will be significantly controlled by diversifying into agriculture, instead of the heavy reliance on oil, urging more Nigerians to take up agriculture.

President Buhari said the discovery of oil and gas reserves in Chad Basin, Benue trough and Bida, and some parts of Bauchi and Gombe, will further bolster current efforts to strengthen the Nigerian economy.

He advised leaders in the Niger Delta to counsel those who blow up pipelines, resulting in spillages that affect farming and farmlands, noting that the loss had always been collective, sometimes turning hard-working farmers to victims.

The Eminent and Respected persons said they needed to show appreciation to the President for his many interventions on infrastructure, security and appointment of indigenes of the state into key positions of government.

Speaking for the group, the former governor of Niger State, Aliyu Babangida, said activities of bandits had rendered many homeless, while others could no longer go the farms, thanking the President for taking more decisive action by directing aerial protection by the military.

Amotekun: We’ve broken ties with Yoruba Nation, no more support – Miyetti Allah

The National President of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), Muhammadu Kirowa, says that the association have broken ties with the Yoruba nation for going ahead with their Amotekun Security Network.

Kirowa speaking at Abuja says that the association and it’s affiliates will cease to support the political ambitions of the Yoruba people, saying that the much debated Amotekun Security Network was formed to disrupt cattle herders.

We cannot be supporting those who are against us. The only reason for forming Amotekun is Fulani people, to drive us away from their land.

Tell me are we not all Nigerians?I have seen that the Amotekun boys have been armed. If they are armed, we have no choice than to arm cattlemen because they need to protect themselves from the danger which Amotekun will pose to them.

They cannot reject Ruga and also reject open grazing, they must choose one. All I can tell you now is that they are pushing us too far. They are really pushing us to the walls. We have held meetings with relevant government agencies and they promised to look into the issue.

How can they go ahead with Amotekun when the police issued them notice to stop? How can they ignore the President’s directive? I see that there is an evil motive behind this security network.

I heard they have also endowed them with charms to kill our cows. For any cow killed, their government will pay double for it. For every Fulani herdsman killed, violence will erupt. We have been oppressed for too long. It’s time to tell Yoruba people that we are not cowards and by Allah’s power, we will crush Amotekun and crush all their evil plots against the Fulani race.

Gov. Lalong Orders Arrest Of Fulani Leaders Over Plateau Killings

Simon Lalong, governor of Plateau state, has ordered the arrest of Fulani leaders and community heads following recent attacks in some parts of the state. Gunmen raided Kwatas village in Bokkos local government area of the state during the weekend, killing more than 15 persons.

During an emergency meeting of community leaders and stakeholders on Tuesday, Lalong ordered the arrest of the Fulani leaders, saying

“it is no longer business as usual.” He said, “I have changed, it is no longer business as usual, people cannot continue to die and we do nothing about it. Arrest all Ardos-Fulani leaders, community heads until they produce the killers. ”

“How can they say that people are killed and there is no arrest? Are those killing others spirits? I don’t think you can kill 15 human beings and claim you are spirit and there is no arrest. All community leaders should be in cell. Arrest them now, nobody is above the law. If they don’t produce the killers keep them in cell. Nobody has immunity except me and the Deputy Governor. This is my charge today, that all Ardos in the affected communities must be in cell.”

Lalong added also that, “Since I have been in the state since February, no event of this magnitude has happened. We have been investigating the incident in Mangun and then this. We cannot continue in this situation in the state. The security agencies have resolved that those people killing must be arrested no matter how highly placed. Peace must return to this state as we cannot continue in this situation. They should not sleep in their houses. By the time they are arrested, we will solve this problem.”

Nigerian leaders hate hearing the truth – Gov. Zulum

Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum, said on Tuesday that Nigerian leaders detest the truth.

The governor, who stated this while delivering a lecture at the National Defence College, Abuja, declared that telling the truth is always difficult in Nigeria.

The event was attended by senior military officers and policymakers within and outside the country. Gov. Zulum told the gathering that the unwillingness of persons in the corridors of power to tell leaders truth about issues and the unwillingness of leaders themselves to hear the truth, are some of the major problems confronting leadership in Nigeria.

He said: “A strategic leader must be a strategic listener and reader. A strategic thinker must also be a strategic learner. A strategic leader must be willing to hear the truth and to learn.

“However, telling the truth and accepting the truth has been our major problems in Nigeria. Some people will never tell you the truth when you are in power and honestly, many of us in power also do not want to hear the truth. We prefer to be told what we like to hear and that is a serious deficit in strategic leadership.”

Insecurity: Presidency frowns at call on President Buhari to quit office

Presidency on Wednesday condemned the call by Sen. Enyinnaya Abaribe, at the floor of the Senate, on President Muhammadu Buhari to resign due to alleged inability of the Federal Government to address security challenges in the country.

Recall that Abaribe’s call caused a stir on the floor of the senate.

However, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, in a statement, question the rationale behind Abaribe’s call, saying:

“President Buhari to resign on what basis?“Just because some characters think that President Buhari should resign, then they expect him to quit. That call does not represent the opinion of the country. This is the opinion of an arm chair critic, known for making stray comments.

“If a leader like President Buhari needs to resign, there are millions of other Nigerians who need to resign, including Senator Abaribe who unlocked the door to enable the escape of traitorous and treasonable suspects.

“He signed the bond for the court to release Nnamdi Kanu on bail, from which moment the suspect disappeared into the thin air. Senator Abaribe has failed repeated deadlines to return Kanu to the court for trial, yet he has the effrontery with which to accuse someone of failing to the bidding of the law.

“This is a man who should have replaced the suspects he failed to produce in the correctional facility.

“Abaribe’s party raped the nation and left it collapsing in 2015 and President Buhari is fixing things up all the years he is in office.

“President Buhari is working hard to keep Nigeria and Nigerians out of the harm terrorists have unleashed in the entire Sahel and Sub-Saharan Africa with the support of Nigerians and our foreign friends, he is going to finish off these terrorists. He alone can do it.’’
